Four concerts into our new series at Brunel Museum and we are loving every minute! From the candlelit cabaret seating, to partnering with Midnight Apothecary serving delicious campfire cocktails on the roof and the new addition of Lò Việt serving homemade Vietnamese bánh mì (not to mention our amazing guest musicians and the Tunnel Shaft’s mind-blowing acoustic)... we’re in heaven!

New opera tells the fascinating and queer story of Michael Field

Shadow Opera in partnership with DEBUT is premiering a new opera by Tom Floyd and Sophie Goldrick based on the true story of a talented but mysterious Victoria Poet — Michael Field. Veritable Michael began life as a podcast during the lockdowns and tickets are now available for the live premiere in the atmospheric Brunel Museum, 7.30pm 14th August. Composer Tom Floyd gives us an insight into this exciting new show.

This week as part of our Artist Development Programme, Horizon Project, we had two closed Masterclasses at Clapham Omnibus.

Why closed (with no-one else watching)? - So that both the artists and Gary and Jo could feel they could speak candidly, take more risks and allow themselves to be more vulnerable.
