There’s always a certain level of excitement (and trepidation!!) launching a new series… will anyone come? - will the idea in our head actually work in practice? - will it be fun as well as informative?

Well, sat at the pub after the workshop, alongside many of the participants we can’t be more excited for Know the Show’s development over the coming years! What makes it unique? - who better to answer that than everyone who came along:

What was the highlight of the day?

“Running through large sections of the piece after learning them and hearing the AMAZING soloists and wonderful harmonies with the whole chorus.”

“We had a lot of fun, and the mix of singers was really good: from those with minimal experience of singing to talented pros, and everything in between. Their friendliness and enthusiasm was infectious.”

How would you describe the day to a friend?

“A fun introduction to an opera and a chance to see what it’s like to be in an opera chorus rehearsal room!”
