Ticket concessions & support

DEBUT exists to share classical music in a way that feels welcoming, friendly, and open to as many people as possible. While ticket income is necessary to help us put on concerts and pay artists fairly, we’re clear that cost should not be a barrier to enjoying what we do.

For selected events, we set aside a small number of complimentary or subsidised tickets for people who might not otherwise be able to attend. These are offered on a discretionary basis and may be allocated in advance or released closer to the event where space allows.

To make this fair, complimentary tickets are offered on a rotating basis, and we may not be able to offer them for every event or to the same person each time.

We also offer reduced-price tickets for under-30s (available via our Secret Concert event pages), and some of our activities, such as Opera in a Day are free to attend, subject to funding.
