Following the success of DEBUT’s Shoreditch Treehouse series (300+ ★★★★★ reviews), this year we’re bringing our unique and lively approach to concerts south of the river, to Brunel Museum’s historic Grade II* listed Thames Tunnel Shaft.

Brunel Museum tells the story of one of the world’s great engineering dynasties, its creator Marc Brunel, organised the world’s first underground concert party here in 1827, and we are continuing the tradition!

What’s it like?

“The night will start, unintuitively, on the roof of the Brunel Museum. This is where Midnight Apothecary have set up their charming fairylit urban garden, complete with salvaged garden furniture, firepits, and thriving vegetable and herb patches, and where you can start the proceedings off with one or two of their botanical cocktails. If you're feeling peckish, you can mollify your appetite with some homemade Vietnamese for courtesy of Lò Viêt, who'll be on hand there too.

When the doors to the tunnel open, you can descend into the vast space and grab a seat at the bottom. You'll be just a few feet from the performers, who'll put on one of their energetic, and spine-tinglingly good shows, thanks in no small part to the magnificent acoustics of the cathedral-like space. And thanks in the much larger part to the fact that they're all brilliantly accomplished musicians, too. When the show's over, you can chat to the players, and grab another cocktail from the roof garden.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Utterly spine tingling concert at Brunel Museum last night by DEBUT. The acoustic was just mind blowing - it’s like a cathedral of Engineering.

Would 10,000% recommend.

Who will I see perform?

Since 2015 we’ve been sharing accessible, fun concerts in interesting and unusual spaces around London. Ranked the No.1 Airbnb Music Experience Globally in 2018, we’ve showcased 200+ musicians, from up and coming talent to fully fledged stars.
