Every week we share new recordings from our Brunel Museum and Shoreditch Treehouse concerts, as well as specially recorded performances. Here’s the latest from our DEBUT at Shoredtich Treehouse series, featuring pianists Rieko Makita, Gamal Khamis and Sam Peña, singers Meriel Cunningham and Lizzie Holmes and clarinettist Guillermo Ramasasa.

We spoke to Lizzie Holmes, founder of DEBUT, about the process and creative ideas behind the new series of Horizon Artist videos. DEBUT’s Horizon artists have been working hard on a bespoke new recording project, and we’ll be releasing them over the summer.

A year on from when OKIEM joined us for DEBUT at Shoreditch Treehouse as our special guest, we wanted to catch up on what the pianist/composer is up to now and share our exclusive live recording of him for DEBUT at Shoreditch Treehouse.

OKIEM is a pianist & composer who's music is described as "cinematic classical”. He creates his signature sound by combining piano, orchestral instruments and synthesizers.
