Introducing: DEBUT's Know the Show - Day Long Singing Workshops for Everyone
At DEBUT we’re all about building a community around classical music and opera, that’s why when we were approached by members of English National Opera’s recently disbanded Community Chorus at the beginning of 2022, we couldn’t resist the opportunity of developing a new quarterly series, to help keep their community going and encourage other music lovers to join us!
What is Know the Show?
Four times a year our Know the Show workshops will delve into the world of an opera, a bit like ‘a day in the life of an opera singer’, you’ll spend the day learning and rehearsing a few key choruses from an opera, led by DEBUT’s team of professional, dynamic musicians. Join us for our first workshop on Verdi’s La Traviata, on Saturday 9 April 2022, music to be announced soon, but we’ll definitely be learning Verdi’s iconic ‘Brindisi’ - The Drinking Song (sung in an English translation).
