Step inside the Brunel Museum’s hidden underground chamber — a candlelit, cathedral-like space steeped in London’s engineering past — for a warm, welcoming evening of live classical music, storytelling, and connection, led by some of the UK’s most exciting performers.
Whether you’re on a date, coming solo, or celebrating with friends and family, this is a night to remember.
What to expect
Created by musicians for musicians and music lovers, DEBUT’s Secret Concerts are all about connection — between artists and audiences, between stories and sound.
You’ll arrive to the sound of improvised piano from our resident pianist, grab a drink from the Brunel Bar in the former engine house, and then descend into the world-famous Tunnel Shaft — the first tunnel in the world built beneath a navigable river. Inside, you’ll find soaring brick walls, candlelit cabaret-style seating, and a magical fairy-lit atmosphere.
At 7:30PM, the concert begins with handpicked performers from the UK’s top stages. Expect musical surprises, behind-the-scenes stories, and a level of intimacy you don’t get in traditional venues.
During the break, you can chat with the artists, try the piano, or wander up to the rooftop and its hidden garden.

Every Secret Concert supports emerging artists through paid performance opportunities, mentoring and community. Since 2017, we’ve hosted over 350 performers and built a loyal following across London.

Since our launch we’ve showcased over 250 top-level musicians, from rising talent to fully fledged stars. Every month we invite different guest musicians to join us and share their favourite music as well as fun behind-the-scenes insights. Each programme is curated by DEBUT to be diverse and engaging, bringing together music from across the ages from much loved classics and forgotten gems right up to the present day.
