Meet the Midnight Apothecary: classical music and cocktails - name a better combination!
What makes our Secret Concert series at the Brunel Museum so unique?
Each month, we showcase some of the most exciting musicians in London, in a haunting and historic venue, with mouth-watering Vietnamese food, alongside the magical Midnight Apothecary - serving up the freshest botanical cocktails in London!
What is the Midnight Apothecary?
Midnight Apothecary is one of London’s best kept secrets. Since 2012, it has been voted one of London’s best pop-up cocktail bars. Founded by Lottie Muir AKA. The Cocktail Gardener - Midnight Apothecary is located on the rooftop of the Brunel Museum Thames Tunnel Shaft (where we host our secret concerts!).
They serve delicious seasonal botanical cocktails (and mocktails!) in their rooftop garden oasis, using ingredients grown in the garden and foraged nearby.
Throughout the year Midnight Apothecary put on fabulous seasonal events, most notably their Wassail Celebration! Where they have a ceremony to bless the apple trees in the Museum Gardens, complete with carol singing and a folk band!
On the evening of a Secret Concert at Brunel Museum, Midnight Apothecary open from 6pm, allowing you to enjoy a fresh cocktail (or two!) in the garden, before descending into the Tunnel after the doors open at 7pm. The best part is - you can take drinks down into the venue AND the bar is open during the interval for any required top-up refreshments!
Midnight Apothecary re-open on 19th & 20th April for their spring & summer season.
Each visit includes a tour of our stunning concert venue, the Grade II* listed Thames Tunnel Shaft, with the captivating tour guide Tim!
