Jake Tyndale-Biscoe, piano
Jack Tyndale-Biscoe’s unorthodox musical background spans three continents, two instruments and encompasses performances from Bach to Britten. From starting "late" at 15 and being self-taught, Jack now pursues his studies at the Royal College of Music, in London, currently in his final year of a Postgraduate Piano Performance degree with Russian pianist and professor, Dina Parakhina.
In 2020, as a result of the pandemic, Jack Tyndale-Biscoe launched the innovative LondonMusicMoments series, which explores the rich and diverse musical heritage found in the city of London through music and speech. It is this idea, the power that music and words have to portray profound artistic experiences, which led Jack to create the company MELODICTUM. Jack Tyndale-Biscoe serves currently as CEO and Artistic Director of MELODICTUM in its initial stages.
He has performed on numerous occasions in concert venues and halls across Europe, the United States and Australia with recent live performances and prizes including: a top prize at the Kings Peak International Music Competition (USA), St. James Church (Holland Park, London), Exhibition Road, (Knightsbridge, London), the Royal College of Music's Amaryllis Flemming Concert hall and West Parry Room, St. Barnabas Church (Kensington), and featured live performances of Albéniz's Iberia Book One on WUSF Radio 89.7 FM, Classical Radio.
In 2021, Jack Tyndale-Biscoe became a Talented Unlimited UK Artist. He is grateful for the support of Canan Maxton and Talent Unlimited UK in their promotion of London-based artists. During the 2021-2022 season, Jack will be presenting/performing a unique program at concert venues across London (St.James Paddington, St Paul's Covent Garden, Westminster Music Library, Southwark Cathedral among others) and recording his debut album entitled: "The Divine Spark of Bach."
Following 125 applications and live auditions in London we were blown away by the artists who applied for the programme. We have been able to expand the programme, allocating opportunities on an artist by artist basis, tailoring it to individual needs. Each singer and instrumentalist has something unique to offer the classical music industry and we can’t wait to share their stories with you through training, performance and evergreen digital content.
