Isabelle Peters, soprano

British soprano, Isabelle Peters, is a current Welsh National Opera Associate Artist for their 2021/22 season where she is appearing in the roles of Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Jana (Jenůfa), and Nadine (Migrations). Isabelle made her WNO role debut in November 2021 as Berta, in their production of Il barbiere di Sivilglia.  

Isabelle made her Barbican debut in the role of Dido for the premiere of Errollyn Wallen's Dido’s Ghost and went on to make her Buxton Opera House debut in the same role. Her recent roles include Fiordiligi (Cosí fan tutte, Waterperry Opera), 1st Bridesmaid (The Marriage of FigaroEnglish National Opera), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte, Waterperry Opera), Barbarina (Le nozze di FigaroOpera Holland Park, YA), and Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte, Cover/Performed ‘Opera First’, Garsington Opera). Isabelle was a Fellow at the English National Opera for their 2019/20 season where she covered the roles of Yum-Yum (The Mikado) and Frasquita (Carmen). Isabelle looks forward to returning to the company for their 2022/2023 season. 

Passionate about song repertoire, Isabelle regularly collaborates with pianists to perform in song competitions and recitals. In 2020 Isabelle was a Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition Finalist with duo partner Dylan Perez. 

An alumni of the Royal Northern College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Isabelle is the winner of the Guildhall ‘Franz-Schubert-Institut Lieder Competition’ and ‘Chartered Surveyors’ Vocal Prize’, and a former Help Musicians UK supported artist.
