Pssst!!

- we’re developing a new show

We’re developing a groundbreaking new show, bringing together the worlds of opera and drag into an engaging and rejuvenating musical experience. This partnership will be a delight for both opera lovers and classical newcomers alike. DEBUT/DRAG will maximise the potential of drag as a fun, interactive and contemporary form of storytelling, merging this with the most dramatic and breathtaking moments of opera. The eventual aim is to create a flexible show which can be toured nationally to a wide range of venues.

Miss Davida Loca is a drag Queen character created by David Fearn, who trained as a vocal scholar at the Royal College of Music as well as studying Musical theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. Miss Davida first appeared in a sold out self produced cabaret show at the Shoreditch Treehouse complete with a supporting cast of West End Guest Stars. As a performer David’s varied career includes performances with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra (A Christmas Carol, Candide), working around the world as Guest Entertainer for cruise ships and workshopping Between Worlds with the English National Opera. Davida combines David’s talents as an experienced classically trained/musical theatre vocalist with a flair for hosting and comedy/ satirical writing.
