The Pandemic of 2020 hit the music world really hard. In an industry that is incredibly tough to ‘make it in’ in normal times, let alone a worldwide pandemic, musicians were faced with the standstill of their industry, many losing over a years worth of work. At DEBUT we also felt quite helpless, but rather than running away we wanted to connect with the musicians that we have gained so much joy from working with. We set up the ‘Hygge Project’ for any musician who wanted to create and share music and a little insight into their lives during lockdown to hopefully bring a little comfort to them and our audiences.
